| Didier Lourenço was born in 1968 in Barcelona, Spain. At age 19 he began to work in his father's studio, learning lithography. He began to paint on paper and canvas, taking over a small corner of the studio. Other artists also painted in the studio, allowing Lourenço to study their work and improve his technique. In 1988 he had his first solo exhibition and printed his first lithographs. He dedicated himself solely to painting in the corner of his father's studio, where he had created his own mini-studio. In 1995, Lourenço opened his own studio in Barcelona. At that time he began to travel the world in order to find more inspirations for his work, which also resulted in his work gaining worldwide exposure. |  | |
