| Michael Kungl, a native of Southern California, knew he wanted to be an artist
since age four, when he painted a sofa using his mother's lipstick. After graduating from the Spokane Falls College of Art, he began a career in
advertising. Kungl became a very successful designer, producing logos, package designs, advertisements, and 3D animations. Inspired by a 1930's poster he couldn't afford, Kungl decided to create his own style of "21st Century Art Deco." Kungl creates his posters, limited edition prints, and artwork for books, magazines, and consumer products in his Southern California studio. | ![]() Photo from mkungl.com | |
