| Sally Caldwell Fisher was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1972, she moved to New England. In New England, she developed the love of New England life that has become the focus of her artistic talents. Ms. Caldwell Fisher uses the phrase “willing suspension of disbelief" to explain some of the apparent contradictions in the scenes she paints. She uses acrylics to create the vivid seascapes that have become her trademark.
